"Going to the Dentist for the very first time as a child can be very scary, this is not the case at all at Gulfshore Pediatric Dentistry. The staff was very friendly and personable. They explained everything step by step for my child, they made the atmosphere relaxed and not at all intimidating the big xray machine, or the tools used during his cleaning. Before Covid19 there was a waiting area to watch movies and play games for the little ones while they waited or while family waited. Post Covid19 you wait in your car at designated parking spots then staff comes out to test your temperature, get paperwork done and then bring you back to your visit. I am making appointments for my two youngest for their first Dentist visit at Gulfshore Pediatric Dentistry."

We went for a routine cleaning today. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I liked how they still had safety protocols still in place but allowed a parent to still be with them, that was huge for me! Dr. Tarver is super nice and very thorough. Overall very pleased!

Today was my 4-year-old son’s first dentist appointment... and I have to say the experience exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in... the staff was courteous and knowledgeable. The dental hygienist took the time to explain to my son the cleaning process and all the tools that she was using. The dentist was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with my concerns. The facility is clean and spacious. Everything is decorated in a colorful beach theme...which my son found very entertaining. They have televisions in the ceiling for when the kids are facing up on their chairs. They also follow CDC covid guidelines, which made us feel very comfortable. My son had an amazing first experience and he’s excited go back. So grateful for the professionals at Gulfshore Pediatric Dentistry and their incredible service.

Why a Pediatric Dentist?

Pediatric dentists have had 2-3 years of additional, specialized training to care for young children and adolescents. From the first tooth to adolescence, we help your child develop a healthy smile and manage situations that are unique only to children.

Our office is designed to ease nervous children (and their parents!) with a kid-friendly atmosphere. We take extra time to understand the personality of each child and our team works hard to accommodate every personality.

Dr. Shea Sammons and Dr. Jordan Tarver are diplomats of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. This means that they have successfully completed an accredited pediatric dental residency program and voluntary pediatric dental board examinations. Their credentials have been verified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and they are qualified to provide exceptional dental care for your child.
